Payments & Payouts Policy

How money moves: what travellers pay, and when operators receive it.

Applies to: Everyone · Last updated 27 August 2026

Draft — not yet legal advice. This document follows the structure Indian regulation expects, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the registered entity details are placeholders. Have it reviewed and complete [Registered legal name — NOT SET] before taking real bookings.

1. Paying for a booking

Payments are taken in Indian Rupees through our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.

2. What you pay

The seat price for your chosen sharing basis, plus any taxes shown at checkout. Exclusions listed on the trip page are paid separately, usually to the operator directly.

3. Operator payouts

Operators are paid to their registered bank account after the trip departs, less commission and applicable deductions. The account must be in the registered legal entity's name.

  • Commission and GST on it are deducted at payout
  • TDS is deducted where applicable
  • Payouts are held where a booking is under dispute

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails, your seat is released back to inventory. Amounts debited for a failed transaction are auto-reversed by your bank, usually within 5–7 working days.
