1. Operator terms come first

Every trip page shows that operator's cancellation windows and refund amounts before you pay. Those terms apply to a traveller-initiated cancellation.

2. If the operator cancels

You receive a 100% refund, or a free transfer to another departure — your choice. This applies whether the cancellation is for weather, safety, or failure to reach minimum headcount.

3. Minimum headcount not met

Operators must notify you at least 7 days before departure. You then choose a full refund or a free date transfer. No cancellation fee applies.

4. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Allow 5–7 working days after approval for the amount to appear, depending on your bank.

5. Circumstances beyond control

Where a trip is stopped by events outside anyone's control — road closures, landslides, permit withdrawal, weather — the operator will offer a refund of recoverable costs or a date transfer. Non-recoverable costs already paid, such as permits, may not be refundable.

6. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, raise it through Grievance Redressal. We acknowledge within 48 hours.
